A heartwarming tale about courage, kindness, and learning to love what makes you you.

Perfect for young readers and anyone who’s ever felt just a little bit different.

Born to her proud parents, Philip and Elizabeth, Matilda feels like the odd one out. Her brothers, sisters, and even other dogs tease her for her large, bat-like ears. But little do they know — those ears are made for greatness!

When Matilda sets off on a journey to discover where she truly belongs, she stumbles into extraordinary adventures. She explores the Natural History Museum, where she meets the mighty T-Rex (who thinks her ears are marvellous!). She visits Buckingham Palace, befriends Queen Elizabeth II, and plays fetch with the royal corgi, Sweep! With each adventure, Matilda learns that being different is her superpower.

In the end, Matilda finds the place she’s always dreamed of — with a kind boy named Peter and his loving family, who think her big ears make her the most special dog in the world.
